Financial Tip: Emergency Fund 101
Life doesn’t always give us a warning before an unexpected expense comes.
A medical bill. A car repair. A family emergency. A sudden loss of income.
That’s why an Emergency Fund matters. It’s money set aside for unexpected needs—so when life happens, you don’t immediately have to rely on credit cards, loans, or your long-term savings.
You don’t have to build it all at once.
Start with ₱5,000.
Save ₱100 a day when you can.
Then gradually work toward 1–3 months of essential expenses.
The goal isn’t to become rich overnight.
The goal is to give yourself breathing room when you need it most.
Start small. Stay consistent. Build security.
Your future self will thank you.
