Feelings are real.
But they are not always reliable.
There will be days when you do not feel strong.
Days when you do not feel loved.
Days when you do not feel forgiven.
Days when you do not feel like God is near.
That is why your faith cannot be built on feelings alone.
Feelings change.
Truth does not.
The enemy loves to use emotions to distort reality.
He whispers:
"God has abandoned you."
"You will never change."
"There is no hope."
"You are alone."
But God's Word says otherwise.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Psalm 34:18
When your feelings say God is absent, His truth says He is near.
When your feelings say you are condemned, His truth says you are forgiven through Christ.
When your feelings say give up, His truth says keep going.
This does not mean ignoring your emotions.
It means refusing to let them become your authority.
Feelings make great indicators.
They make terrible leaders.
God never told you to follow your heart.
He told you to follow Him.
So when your emotions and God's Word disagree, trust His Word.
Because feelings come and go.
But the truth of God remains forever.
And what God says about you is more trustworthy than what you feel about yourself. ❤️🔥
