I successfully closed deals with three amazing clients this month, both before, during, and after my trip. This experience has truly highlighted the best part of being a freelancer: the ability to balance work and personal enjoyment seamlessly.

Being a freelancer gives me the freedom and flexibility to have the best of both worlds. This month, Iโ€™ve closed clients with similar challenges such as cleaning up their books and streamlining their financials. Two of them were abandoned by prior bookkeepers, resulting in unproductiveness.

The little things truly do matter.

A client of mine took a moment to acknowledge my work and the value I bring to the table. It's moments like these that make all the hard work worthwhile.

In a recent meeting with this client, we delved into some complex questions about accounting practices related to their business. We discussed the treatment of loan principal amounts and how they should be recorded in the books. Despite the intricacies, I was able to provide clarity and guidance based on my understanding of accounting principles.

Even though I felt a bit unsure at times, I trusted my knowledge and experience to offer the best advice possible. The client wants to know the profitability of his business and to his knowledge it should be part of business expense. And you know what? It paid off! My client reach out to 2 of CPA's he knows and they said that Im correct and his wrong. This not only appreciated my input, but also valued it enough to put my judgment ahead of his.

This experience reminded to me the importance of continuous learning and staying informed in my field which is bookkeeping. It's not always about having all the answers but about being willing to seek them out and provide the best possible solutions for my clients.

So, here's to celebrating the small victories and the impact they can have on our day and our work. Remember, every step forward, no matter how small, is a step in the right direction!

Today marks the first day of implementing our new operating system for task management. Notions!

We're excited to get started and ready to improve team performance and streamline our work processes.

With our new Operating System in place, we're gearing up to streamline our tasks like never before. From managing projects to staying on top of current tasks and soon keeping our clients in the loop (Clients Portal), there's a lot on my plate.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be putting in the hard work to fine-tune our system and ensure it's fully functional for the entire team.
