Life insurance experts suggest having enough coverage to replace at least 10 years of your annual expenses. If for example your annual expenses is P600,000 (50,000x12), then you could also add extra as a buffer for inflation and other unexpected costs. For this example then, a P6M to P6.5M policy would be reasonable. This would replace your income for your family for at least a decade.
