This week, Rev. Benjie gave us a call to action about the attitude we are to have for the commandments of God, total commitment and obedience. ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ผ ๐ถ๐ณ ๐๐ฒ ๐น๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ฑ, in the same way as we listen to those who we love.
We must remember that we have a God! Let us take time to know Him personally. Because idolatry, that which steals our love from God, run rampant even thousands of years after He spoke. Idols are not only carved images. ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ๐, ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐, ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐, ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ ๐๐ผ๐ฑ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ถ๐. Let us commit to know and care about God, and we will see that doing the right thing will be more and more obvious.
In knowing who God is, we also see what we should do, what path we should take. We are like drivers obeying traffic rules where disobeying can lead to harm. Here, God has graciously provided what we need to follow the right path. ๐ช๐ฒ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ผ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป.
Here now, we should remember to follow the instructions of the God we know, to live the right way. There are many who walk in a different way from us, many who give in to sin, to stealing, to lying, to lustโ๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐๐ฒ.
Instead, let us remember what these commandments make us to be, ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ, like God, the Father of Lights. Let us make the right choices and follow the commandment in our homes, our office, among our friends and family! It is not too late for those who we love in the same way that it is not too late for each of us to see, know and love God! This is our journey as Christians, and our purpose is to be like Jesus.
