PERMISSION TO POST
A young agent once told me,
“Sir, ang hirap magbenta ng insurance… parang walang gustong bumili.”
So I asked him,
“When was the last time someone woke up and said—
‘I feel like buying insurance today’?”
He answered. “Wala.”
That’s the truth.
Insurance is almost never bought.
It is sold—through conversations people didn’t know they needed.
I brought him to a hospital.
We didn’t talk to patients.
We just observed.
A father outside the ICU, quiet… calculating expenses.
A wife talking to a billing officer, trying to stretch time.
A son calling relatives, asking for help.
Tahimik siya buong time.
Paglabas namin, sinabi niya—
“Sir… hindi pala product ang binebenta natin.”
I nodded.
“You’re not selling insurance.
You’re selling relief before pain comes.”
⸻
From that day on, he stopped waiting for people to buy.
He started starting conversations.
He asked better questions.
He listened deeper.
He made people see the future—before it became real.
⸻
And suddenly, everything changed.
Same product.
Same market.
Different understanding.
⸻
Because in this business,
people don’t buy what they don’t feel.
So we don’t wait.
We guide.
We educate.
We help them decide—before life decides for them.
