a multinational, Hongkong-based pharmaceutical company initially engaged in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products for both domestic and foreign traders and distributors which later transferred operations to the Philippines in 1987. Juvencio D. Dizon, Chairman of Vendiz Pharmaceuticals, thus it became a 100% Filipino owned company. This makes Ashford a sister company of Vendiz. In 1995, Ashford expanded and transferred to its newly-constructed 9,700 sqm manufacturing facilities in Antipolo, Rizal. Ashford Pharmaceuticals Laboratories, Inc. prides itself in being one of the few manufacturing companies in the Philippines which has been given the Certificate of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) by the Bureau of Food and Drugs.
