A gentle reminder to our CARs Owners out there. Due to inclement weather affecting many areas, we kindly remind everyone to prioritize safety at all times.
Please take all necessary precautions, especially when travelling or meeting with clients, friends and families.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of the proper handling and communication when dealing with flooded vehicle claims:
1. Do not to start the engine or drive their flooded vehicle - this can cause further damage and may affect claim assessment
2. Ensure prompt claim reporting - claim should be reported as soon as possible, along with photos or videos showing the extent of the damage (should note the water level inside the vehicle)
3. Inform our clients about their policy coverage - check if their policy includes Acts of Nature coverage
4.Coordinate with our claims team - for any assistance or clarification, you may reach out to our team or to claims department directly to ensure proper guidance.
