The Lakas Bayanihan Credit Cooperative is an employee cooperative that aims to improve the quality of life of each member. The common pool of funds makes it possible to provide the members various benefits: financial aid, savings, educational assistance, business investments, and more! All active and retired personnels from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP

A memorable courtesy call was held on January 9, 2026, between Lakas Bayanihan Multipurpose Cooperative (LBMPC) and Police Brigadier General Christopher M. Abecia, highlighting a shared commitment to cooperation, service, and community development.

The LBMPC delegation was led by Ma. Nevelyn Custodio, Officer-in-Charge, together with Marilou Joy Valenzuela, Finance Manager, and team member Rose Cruz. The visit aimed to strengthen institutional relations and explore areas of collaboration that support the welfare of cooperative members and the community.

PBGen Abecia warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the cooperative’s initiatives that promote empowerment, financial inclusion, and the spirit of bayanihan. Both parties engaged in a productive discussion on mutual support and partnership.

The courtesy call concluded with a renewed commitment to work together toward sustainable development and service to the community, making the meeting a meaningful and memorable engagement for all involved.

Lakas Bayanihan Multipurpose Cooperative Christmas Gift-Giving 2025
Lakas Bayanihan Multipurpose Cooperative successfully conducted its Christmas Gift-Giving 2025 for all members, celebrating the season with gratitude, unity, and the spirit of bayanihan. The activity reflected the cooperative’s commitment to inclusivity by ensuring that every member received a Christmas gift as a token of appreciation for their continued support.
Officers, staff, and volunteers worked together to prepare and distribute the gifts, which symbolized not only holiday cheer but also the cooperative’s recognition of its members’ vital role in its growth and success. The event fostered fellowship, allowing members to share smiles, greetings, and moments of togetherness.
Through this annual tradition, Lakas Bayanihan Multipurpose Cooperative reaffirmed its mission of service, solidarity, and shared progress. The Christmas Gift-Giving 2025 once again highlighted that through cooperation and unity, the cooperative family continues to grow stronger.
