INSURANCE? SCAM LANG YAN! 🤷‍♀️

That's my first reaction when a former classmate offered me one. Nakaka-gulat pa nga kasi we don't even talk. Ngitian lang but other than that, wala na then out of nowhere, halos 5 years na ang nakalipas, he would offer me insurance?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Girl, I was 20-ish that time. Single. Smoker lol but that's not the issue. The issue is I'm strong, healthy, and still years away from death.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But I was wrong. Akala ko, insurance is just about my loved ones getting money when I die.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I never thought about it covering my expenses in case of a critical illness hits -- na siguro naman ngayon, alam na natin can hit anyone regardless of the age.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"E may savings naman ako. Philhealth. And HMO."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That's another belief I have. Di ko na naisip na ung savings ko is for another goal -- to travel, buy tons of makeup, or purchase a beer-filled refrigerator.

When I get sick, that saving will be used to cover it and knowing na sobrang mahal magkasakit, I know it won't be enough. Philhealth won't be enough. HMO won't be enough.

Now that I know the value of health insurance, I might not be able to dodge bullets. I may get sick, be in an accident, or well, 🧟‍♀️ but at least I'll have the peace of mind I need knowing na somehow, di na ako/kami magiisip kung saan pa kukuha ng pang-cover ng expenses -- hospital and non-hospital related.

Last but not the least, di na kailangan galawin ung savings and that means extra fund for my little one.

Hello Friends

Para kanino ka ba bumabangon sa umaga?
Para kanino ka ba nagsisikap magtrabaho at kumita ng pera?
Para kanino ba kaya ka nagiipon ng pera?

Ilang mga simpleng tanong na ang karamihan sa atin ang sagot, ay para sa PAMILYA at para sa PANGARAP.

Karamihan sa atin magttrabaho ng Otso oras araw-araw para lang matugunan pangangailangan ng pamilya, yung iba pa nga kailangan pa mangibang bansa para mabigyan ng maginhawang buhay ang anak at mga magulang.

Kakayod ng araw araw, buong linggo, maraming buwan at maraming taon para lang makaipon ng malaki.

Ang goal mo lang ba ay magipon ng magipon?
