Your money never lies.

It clearly tells what’s important to you.

If you say that you value something but your money goes somewhere else, then something’s off.

If you say you prioritize your family but your spending says otherwise, then maybe your family is not really your priority.

GRATITUDE = simple word, big meaning

Some people used to feel happy and grateful only when they’ve achieved something great. Kapag napromote or nakabili ng kotse at bahay.

I used to feel this way. I had this belief for so long that the only way to be happy is to attain these things.

Last week, nagkayayaan nanaman ang buong family na magjogging. Inisip ko baka hindi din matuloy ilang attempt na kasi to, may trabaho parents ko, busy mga kapatid ko sa school works, at ang dami pang pwedeng rason kung bakit hindi matutuloy. Madalas nga din na hindi kami nagkakasabay kumain.

Pero natuloy! Ang aga nga namin gumising. Excited pa kasi ngayon lang makakapagjogging ulit sa labas simula magkapandemic. Kasama pa nga mga doggos namin, si Kimchi at si Sushi. Sobrang peaceful at tahimik pa kasi kami lang din ang nagjojogging sa area. Nakapagpicnic pa kami after magworkout, naka-indian sit lang sa semento at ineenjoy ang moment at kwentuhan.

All these little things, na dati natatake for granted ko lang — spending time together and being really present in the moment, having meaningful conversations, laughing about silly things. These all make feel so blessed and grateful.

There’s still a lot of things to be grateful for — especially the littlest things that we often neglect.

Minsan, sa kaka-pursue natin sa mga BIG things in life that the society tell us to have, nakakalimutan na nating ienjoy yung mga maliliit at simpleng moments but usually the most important things in life that are right in front of us.

MAGIGING MASAYA NA AKO PAG MAY 1 MILLION PESOS NA AKO

magiging masaya na ako, pag nabili ko na yung dream house ko, dream car ko, pag nagawa ko na yung gusto ko … once i reach all these goals, I will be happy.

Why do we label our hapiness based on our achievements? When the truth is, achieving our goals only changes our life for the moment.

Goals restrict our happiness.

Biruin mo, you’re putting off your happiness until you’ve hit another goal. Imagine doing this your whole life. Ilang beses ka lang naging masaya?

Either you achieve this goal and become successful or you fail and become a disappointment. And what if di mo na-hit yung goal mo? You think you’re a failure and a disappointment.

When you fall in love with the process of whatever you’re doing rather than focusing on the goal, you don’t have to wait to give yourself permission to be happy.
