Job Title: Loan Processor
Job Summary:
The Loan Processor is responsible for managing and organizing the documentation required for mortgage or other loan applications. They work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and customers to ensure all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner for approval. Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify loan application docu
ments for completeness and accuracy. Collect and organize applicant documentation such as income verification, credit reports, property appraisals, and bank statements. Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other parties to resolve any issues or obtain missing information. Input and maintain accurate loan information in loan processing systems. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and internal company policies. Submit completed loan files to underwriting for review and approval. Track and monitor loan application progress and deadlines. Prepare files for closing and ensure all conditions are met.
