The Higher Education Development Fund Staff (HEDFS) led by Director Rogelio T. Galera, Jr. with Ms. Diana C. Aguilar, Supervising Administrative Officer and HEDFS Accountant Mr. Richard Dean Gavilan, received the check amounting to Php33,163,121.30 from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Melquiades Robles today, January 30, 2023, at the PCSO Main Office.

As mandated by Republic Act No. 7722 otherwise known as the “Higher Education Act of 1994”, PCSO will contribute to the Fund an equivalent of one (1) percent of the gross sales of its lotto operation for the strengthening of higher education in the country.
