Paglaum Multi Purpose Cooperative - Plaridel Branch joined the final day of the funeral of the late Anita Moreno -Sweet Home Center Chief , honoring her life and invaluable contributions to our cooperative.

We extend our deepest condolences to her loved ones and pray for strength and comfort during this difficult time. Her memory will always be cherished.

📣 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 📣

All Paglaum MPC Office work is suspended on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, in observation of 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 (𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗼), declared a Regular Holiday nationwide by Proclamation 727 s. 2024.

The celebration of Labor Day in the Philippines dates back to the American colonial era, with the first local protest for workers' rights staged by the Union Obrera Democratica Filipina in 1903. Labor Day was recognized as a holiday in 1908 and officially commemorated from 1913 onwards.

Regular office operations shall resume on May 2, Friday.
