Overseas Filipino Workers are truly our modern-day heroes. As per Balikbayad PH, the number of OFWs increase every year. As per 2015, the country deployed 1.8 million land-based workers and 450,000 seafarers.

This clarifies the fact that the income opportunity in the Philippines is not at par with other countries overseas.

Sadly, as per OCHA, the pandemic caused a drastic 75% reduction in deployment of OFWs. Many Filipinos remain stranded and unemployed in their own country.

As a maritime student and a son of a seaman, my heart is one with the struggles of our heroes. That is why Kuys Josh is here to help our fellow Filipinos in his own way by ensuring that our OFWs LEARN to EARN even at home!
