JOB DESRIPTION/ ROLE:
Development of applications for mobile devices on iOS operating syste,

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Responsible for the development of mobile applications for iOs devices.
• Design and build applications for Apple deviceds on the iOS platform.
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with other development teams to design and launch new features.
• Maintain code integrity and organization.
• Understands the best practices of iOS app design and supporting iPhone and iPad layouts via Storyboards.
• Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, MySQL, JavaScript and the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
• Experience with agile development (SCRUM).
• Experience with source code management using Git/ SVN.
• Experience with iOS SDK creation/ management.
• Strong command over Swift and Objective C languages and Cocoa Touch.
• Knowledge of the Cocoa frameworks such as Core Data, Core animation, Core Graphics, Core Audio and Core Text.
• Self-motivated; creative problem-solving skills.
• Very good in team coordination; pro-active; keen to details and results-oriented.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or its related course.
• At least 1-2 years of broad I.T. experience in web and internet technologies, preferably in a global organization.

ROLE, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement responsible design principles to ensure that company websites render well across multiple devices.
• Design a framework for creating use apps that grows with the needs of the company.
• Monitor website performance, watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems and rectify the issues.
• Review app(s) and features(s) coding and plan future website upgrades with the development team.
• Assist in the development of applications and features that will be put on the website and in internal functions as well.
• Responsible in the interchange of data between the server and the users.
• Focus is on the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• Responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by co-workers into the application.
• Responsible for creating innovative solutions to web design issues to help make the website more visually appealing and enhance usability.
• Work closely with web development and software design teams to update the website and internal web tools to make them more efficient.

REQUIREMENTS
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSSS3.
• Good understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes.
• Data migration, transformation, and scripting.
• Set up and administration of backups.
• Outputting data in different formats.
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile versus desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
• Creating database schemes that represent and support business processes.
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Proficient knowledge of back-end programming language (more of PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript, etc.).
• Proficient understanding of code vesioning tools, such as Git.
• Proficient understanding of OWASP security principles.
• Understanding of "session management" in a distributed server environment.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or its equivalent.
• With at least 1-3 years work-related experience; willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
• Can start as soon as possible.
