The Pilot & Incubation Program along with its culminating Entrepreneurial Solutions Showcase proved that tackling environmental challenges requires collaboration, innovation, and collective action.

Their message is clear: solving the plastics crisis means scaling deep and investing in local solutions, collective wisdom, and lasting impact.

Many communities struggle with waste leakage due to weak policies, lack of awareness, and inadequate facilities but MARE! is changing that.

As an end-to-end, segregation-focused waste management solution, MARE! provides access to Materials Recovery Facilities (MRFs) while offering regular waste collection and diversion services. Their approach goes beyond collection—they focus on education, proper segregation training, and incentivizing waste workers with financial and other benefits.

Through their efforts, 1.2 tons of plastic waste have been recovered, proving that better systems lead to real impact.

From LandFillers to Land Healers. 🌱

The SoilMate Collective Inc. is transforming food waste into healthy soil, diverting waste from landfills and supporting local food production.

Food waste is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, but SoilMate is making a real impact—preventing 12,998 kg of methane and 1,091,844 kg of CO₂ emissions. By segregating waste at the source, they also keep recyclables clean, ensuring more materials are reused instead of discarded.
