📣 NOW RELEASED | DepEd Memorandum No. 048, s. 2026

The Department of Education officially issues DepEd Memorandum No. 048, s. 2026, or the “Allocation and Release of the School Innovation and Improvement Fund (SIIF) to Non-Implementing Unit Public Schools to Strengthen Decentralization Practices in the Department of Education for FY 2026.”

This Memorandum aims to:

🔹Provide supplemental resources that enable schools to address their unique development needs;
🔹Support the implementation of innovative and continuous improvement interventions; and
🔹Strengthen school-level decision-making through the implementation of locally responsive initiatives.

Through the SIIF, DepEd reinforces its commitment to decentralization by equipping schools with the resources and flexibility to implement initiatives that accelerate foundational literacy and numeracy.
