Premiere Horizon Alliance's (PHA) investment in SquidPay Technologies, Inc. (SPT) gets a nod on November 17, 2021, following a special meeting of the PHA Board of Directors.

The PHA Board approved the acquisition of 33% of SPT for Php 561 million equivalent. This acquisition falls under PHA's vision of solidifying its fintech presence and countryside development. It brings SPT's pre-money valuation up by Php 1.7 Billion, well within range of the Php 3B valuation reported by KPMG this year.

PHA will be entitled to three (3) out of the seven (7) Board of Directors’ seats in SPT. PHA and Mr. Marvin Dela Cruz shall also jointly nominate the Chairman of the Board of SPT as well as the Executive Committee Chairman, President, CEO, CFO, and Treasurer.

The funding will come from the Php 625 million subscription payable by the group led by Mr. Marvin Dela Cruz in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement with PHA dated October 29, 2020.

The ex*****on timeline will be subject to the requisite government regulatory approvals.
