𝑴𝒚 5𝒕𝒉 𝑨𝒄𝒄𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒊𝒎𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 - 𝑨𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 ✅

But this one feels different. Because this time, it was 𝒎𝒚 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒎.

As a Financial Advisor, I always talk about protection. I always tell people that accidents are unpredictable, life is very uncertain and that insurance is there for moments we hope will never come.

But life has a way of reminding us that 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 — 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒖𝒔.

Quick story. While on my way to a client meeting in Manila, binangga ng bus ang aking sasakyan sa likod habang nasa stoplight ako. Sobrang bilis ng pangyayari, next thing i know nandun na ako sa gitna ng intersection. Literal na nagjump ang sasakyan ko pagka bangga ng bus saken. Luckily, wala namang malala na nangyari saken, sobrang pagkahilo and bugbog lang.

When that accident happened, there was worry of course. But there was also peace of mind, knowing that I made the right decision to protect myself.

Last March 3, I received my claim and I couldn't help but feel grateful. Grateful that when life became uncertain for a moment, 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒐𝒏 (HMO, Life Insurance and even Car Insurance). Deeply grateful because God has given me another chance to live and be with my loved ones.

Because insurance is not just about policies, numbers or claims. It's about 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒖𝒑 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒖𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆.

And today, I am reminded once again why I will 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏.

For some, these may be just numbers and milestones but behind them were countless rejections, moments of self doubt and anxiety that always lingers in our head.

But despite all of these, I am deeply grateful to every client who trusted and supported me, every teammate who hustled and believed in me and to our Dear Lord who constantly guiding and sustaining me every step of the way.
