⚓ How did JBLCF - Bacolod prepare you for life on board and to become a global leader and professional?
“John B. Lacson prepared us not only for examinations or professional courses, but more importantly, for life itself. The institution taught us how to become adaptable, disciplined, and confident individuals who are capable of overcoming challenges in any field we choose to pursue.
The experiences, lessons, and values I gained during my years at JBLCF-Bacolod helped shape my mindset and strengthened my character. Through every challenge, I learned the importance of responsibility, commitment, and perseverance. These qualities became my foundation as I entered the professional world and eventually built my own business.
As a Customs Brokerage Owner, every day comes with responsibilities that require leadership, critical thinking, and sound decision-making. The industry is fast-paced and demanding, but the training and discipline instilled in me by John B. Lacson continue to guide me in handling pressure, adapting to changes, and striving for excellence in every opportunity.”

“One of the greatest values that John B. Lacson taught me is having firmness of mind, passion, perseverance, and resilience in pursuing long-term and meaningful goals.
Life and business are never easy. There will always be obstacles, failures, setbacks, and moments of uncertainty. However, JBLCF-Bacolod taught me that challenges are not meant to stop us—they are meant to strengthen us. Every hardship became an opportunity to grow wiser, stronger, and more determined.
As a business owner, I learned that success does not happen overnight. It takes patience, sacrifice, consistency, and the courage to keep moving forward even when things become difficult. Passion fuels the journey, perseverance keeps the dream alive, and resilience allows us to rise after every failure.
