On August 26, 2026, OCCCI Villaba Branch conducted a Tree Planting Activity at Brgy. Catagbacan, Villaba, Leyte, on the property of Ms. Nakning Baguio, a valued member and active Macro Elecom Chairperson.

The activity was joined by dedicated OCCCI members and staff, including SHEER Advocacy Officer Mr. Joel Garcia Hinay and CAC Office Assistant Mr. Jonathan J. Tabat.

More than planting trees, the activity was a meaningful expression of OCCCIโ€™s commitment to environmental protection and community responsibility. ๐ŸŒฑ

On August 24, 2026, OCCCI Albuera Branch joined a meaningful Mangrove Planting and Clean-Up Drive at Damula-an, Albuera, Leyte, together with the staff of the Municipality of Albuera.

The activity brought together OCCCI staff and municipal personnel in a shared effort to promote environmental conservation, coastal protection, and community responsibility. Through mangrove planting and clean-up efforts, the participants contributed to creating a cleaner and healthier environment for the community and future generations.

The initiative reflects OCCCI Albuera Branchโ€™s commitment to its SHEER Environment Advocacy, demonstrating that cooperation extends beyond financial services to protecting and caring for the communities we serve.

In celebration of the 48th Anniversary of the Metro Ormoc Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative (OCCCI) with the theme โ€œFortify and Flourish,โ€ OCCCI District 2 conducted the Cascading of Gender and Development (GAD) Training for its Cluster Officers.
