Rural Bank of Norala

Rural Bank of Norala Time Deposit The Rural Bank of Norala (RBN) was conceived in 1970 by a group led by Dr. Gregorio Limpin, Sr. of Norala, South Cotabato.

The very purpose of which was to help the municipality spur its economic development. A feasibility study was then conducted to assess the viability of establishing a rural bank in the area. It was submitted to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, which upon review and deliberation, granted approval to the Limpin family to create a rural bank in July 1970. Hence, the Limpin Family incorporated and ope

rated the RBN since then. Due to the management and financial problems that besetted the bank, the Limpin has decided to sell the bank to the owners of the MUTI Group of Companies in Koronadal City. Despite of the bank’s current predicament, the new owners still muster confident to turn around the bank’s financial operations into a positive bottom line within a short period of time. The potential of the bank, in terms of its revenue generation, is considered favourable due to vast potential of its market and the current development activities within the SOCCSKSARGEN region, in general.
