To our dear Overseas Filipinos, Overseas Filipino Families, and Co-ops:
Learning is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves this 2022. Today, our co-ops and OF families can enjoy this gift as the AFLSE OF LIFE Online Program is now open for registration. The program is one of the Executive Programs of the Ateneo School of Government and carries with it a holistic, excellent, and value-driven brand of education.
The program aims to provide:
• Leadership Skills training that empowers each cooperator, OF Family, and reintegrated OF to view herself/himself as an agent of change and transformation;
• Financial Literacy, including both financial concepts and skills that the participants can use to improve their economic security and financial well-being. For co-ops, these skills can be related to developing/improving the FinLit sessions for OF and OF Family members of the co-op for their retirement, business activities, and reintegration into the Philippines;
• Entrepreneurship Skills, focused on social entrepreneurship and social innovation so that Co-ops can guide the Overseas Filipinos and their families to explore their potentials for changing their livelihood options, either in the host country or back in the Philippines, instead of relying solely on paid employment.
