THIS IS MY VERY FIRST PRU CLAIM STORY
Client is a young, active, and healthy 26 year old software engineer. Last October 2022, she was referred to me by her partner (my college friend /church friend). We discussed her options and she got a comprehensive VUL policy.
Fast forward 8 months after (June 2023), my client was confined for a total of 32 days at Asian Hospital. Not only did she exhaust her HMO card, but her family's life savings have also been zeroed out.
This past week (August 9), we have officially filed for a Daily Hospital Income claim. We submitted all necessary documents on the hopes that the client would recover some of the expenses incured because of her disease.
We set our expectations that the claim would be processed around 2 to 4 weeks average time.
Surprisingly, that did not happen..
Earlier today (August 14), she messaged me that she thinks her account has received the reimbursement account already. I am already amazed by the turnaround time. 4 business days? Not even a week?
Then she noticed something else.
The amount was credited on August 10! Only a day after we submitted her requirements!
One day processing!!! Let that sink in.
As a Financial Advisor, I am still in awe how VUL can help change the financial situation.
