📌 The inclusion of your names in the post serves as an advance notice to inform grantees that their records are part of the ongoing assessment and processing of TES funds.

This is intended to give grantees ample time to:

✔ Verify their names and records
✔ Check for any pending semestral clearances
✔ Resolve INC (Incomplete) grades, if any
✔ Settle outstanding obligations with the Finance Office

By posting the names early, affected grantees are given the opportunity to address any deficiencies before the release schedule is finalized, thereby helping prevent delays during the actual fund release.

📌 Additionally, the Finance Office needs sufficient time to conduct assessment, validation, and check processing due to the volume of TES grantees. Posting the names in advance helps facilitate a smoother and more efficient release process once schedules are announced.

⚠️ Inclusion in the posted list does not automatically mean that a release schedule has already been assigned. Grantees should continue to monitor official announcements for updates regarding their batch's release schedule.

📌 All TES applications undergo a verification and validation process conducted by the CHED-UniFAST. The evaluation is based on the eligibility requirements, submitted data, and validation procedures established by CHED-UniFAST.

⚠️ Please note that the institution does not select, approve, or disapprove TES grantees. The school's role is limited to facilitating the submission of applicant information and complying with the requirements requested by CHED-UniFAST.

The final list of validated grantees is determined solely by the CHED-UniFAST after completing the necessary verification and validation processes.

📌 Therefore, submitting an application does not automatically guarantee validation or inclusion in the list of TES beneficiaries.

📖 Applicants are encouraged to wait for official validation results released by CHED-UniFAST. For concerns regarding validation status, kindly understand that the institution has no authority to alter or influence the outcome of the validation process.

No. TES funds are government funds intended exclusively for qualified student-beneficiaries and cannot be used for institutional projects, operational expenses, or other purposes not authorized under CHED-UniFAST guidelines.

While there may be instances where the release process takes time, such delays are commonly due to necessary validation, tuition fee assessment, verification of student records, clearance checking, payroll preparation, and compliance with documentary and auditing requirements. These procedures are undertaken to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and proper disbursement of the funds.

Furthermore, CHED-UniFAST guidelines require Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to release TES funds to qualified grantees within thirty (30) days from receipt of the funds. Non-compliance may result in the withholding of the institution's Administrative Support Cost (ASC) and the imposition of other administrative sanctions.

Therefore, delays in the release of TES funds should not automatically be interpreted as the institution using the funds to earn bank interest or to finance institutional purchases. TES funds remain dedicated solely for the benefit of qualified student-grantees.

📌 For grantees who CANNOT personally appear during their scheduled release, kindly submit the following through your authorized representative:

✔ 3 long-sized photocopies of the Authorized Representative’s ID
✔ Authorized representative must preferably be of nearest consanguinity

We are currently conducting a Survey on the Status and Challenges in Opening LandBank Accounts of TES Grantees to better understand your progress and the difficulties you may be experiencing in opening your LandBank accounts.

As of today, only a portion of our target grantees have successfully submitted their account details. Your response is very important—it will help us identify concerns such as account application issues, ID requirements, access to LandBank branches, and the level of support needed from your school.

📌 Who should answer?
All continuing TES grantees [as of 1st semester AY 2025-2026] —whether you have already opened your account, are still processing, or have not yet started.

The Scranton Women’s Leadership Center (SWLC) is now accepting applications for the Scranton Women’s Scholarship 2026!

✨ Application Materials:
• Completed Application Form
• Personal Essay (500–700 words)
• Official Academic Transcript (covering all undergraduate years)
• 2x2 ID Picture

📌 All documents must be prepared in English.

👩‍🎓 Eligibility Criteria:
• Women aged 18 to 30 years old
• incoming or currently enrolled in the 2nd year or higher of undergraduate studies at Southern Christian College
• Must be able to demonstrate financial need

📢 ADVISORY: SCC TES GRANTEES

All SCC TES grantees are hereby advised that there is NO NEED to travel to Cotabato City to open a Land Bank account.

The Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) will schedule a visit to the institution to assist students who were not able to successfully open an account online.

📌 LBP has also requested CHED to extend the deadline, to allow more time for compliance.

📌 For the meantime:
Student-grantees who were not able to successfully process their Land Bank account are advised to provide their details at the SCC Scholarship Office.
