OVP NAKA-STANDBY PARA TUMULONG SA MGA NAAPEKTUHAN NG LINDOL SA DAVAO ORIENTAL
Matapos tumama ang magnitude 7.4 lindol sa Davao Oriental, tiniyak ng Office of the Vice President – Southern Mindanao Satellite Office (OVP-SMSO) na mahigpit nilang minomonitor ang sitwasyon at handa silang tumulong sa mga lokal na pamahalaan kung kinakailangan.
“We are currently on standby to assist any Local Government Unit (LGU) in providing relief to evacuees, should the need arise.”
Hinimok din ng OVP ang mga naapektuhan na humingi ng psychological first aid upang maibsan ang takot at pangamba, lalo na sa mga bata.
“It is also important to ensure that Go Emergency Bags are prepared and accessible, in anticipation of possible aftershocks.”
Dagdag pa ng tanggapan, patuloy silang mananalangin para sa bansa at sa lahat ng apektadong komunidad.
“We will continue to pray for the Philippines and anticipate coordination efforts to support the local communities.”
