As part of our cooperative’s core value of “Concern for Community,” SMFMPC members joined Brigada Eskwela 2026. We worked hand-in-hand with teachers, parents, and students of Rene T. Malvar ES, Enrique Legaspi Sr. ES, and Capitolina Ogaya Legaspi Memorial HS to clean, repair, and beautify classrooms. Our participation shows that education is everyone’s responsibility.

The Sampaloc Malinta Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (SMFMPC)
Outstanding Farmers Association

The Sampaloc Malinta Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (SMFMPC) is located in Sitio Sampaloc, Brgy. Malinta, Masbate City. Founded on 2010, by fifteen (15) farmers, it aimed to improve their socio-economic conditions through collective action.
From a simple lending cooperative, SMFMPC evolved into a multi-service enterprise. One of SMFMPC’s major innovations is its Farm-to-Market-to-Protection Model, which provides integrated support from production to marketing and social protection. Through regular and agricultural loans, farmers receive financial support primarily invested in farming activities. The Agri Store ensures affordable access to farm inputs, while the Kadiwa Store serves as a direct market outlet for farmers to secure better prices by reducing their dependence on middlemen.
Furthermore, combined with insurance coverage and livelihood diversification through cattle fattening, the cooperative has helped increase farmers’ net income by 20%–30%.

Our treasurer, Emily Evangelista participates Training on Postharvest handling of fruits and vegetables of Kadiwa beneficiaries at Pili, Camarines Sur.
On first day they conduct store visit on Kadiwa Store (Agri-store) to observe and to gain new idea. The store offer different kind of fruits and vegetable. Also they offer their Chips made on different agricultural raw products such as okra chips, cucumber chips, sili chips and many more.
