Re viral post re claims in Pru:

Pag Medyo bago po ang plan, may investigation talaga. Under contract po iyan. Pumipirma po tayo jan :)

Makes sense po kasi malaki ang Ilalabas ni Pru (puedeng millions) for the claim.

Kaya they need to know if the client was sick na prior to application.

Isipin nyo nlng po pag nag pa warranty kayo ng appliance or gadget diba iniinspect at chinecheck muna nila yan, may proseso din po. :)

Pero dami na po naming claims. Billions na. So pls don’t listen to people who say na Mahirap to claim.

Facts about Insurance claim process:

1. For claims within 2 years
2yr- contestability period will be applied by all insurance companies

- process will take longer than policy claims beyond 2 years/ lampas na sa contestability since wla na investigation. If lampas na 2 years, submisson of complete recquirements nlng.

2. Any claim process, merong requirements. Hindi gagalaw ang claim process if hindi complete nasusubmit ang mga requirements. Common reason yan for delay. So best to cooperate and submit.
Ask your FAs for complete list of requirements in advance.

3. Turn around time of claim process based on 2020 claims report:

Within 2 years- 25-45 days if complete requirements are submitted

Beyond 2 years- 2 weeks or less iif complete requirements are submitted

4. Claim processs stories are case- to- case basis. Social media rants should be carefully evaluated. Facts of the case must be evaluated to avoid unecessary panics.

5. Approved claims of Pru life UK in 2020.
