: Before the end of last year, BPI held the Metro Manila leg of Cyberacademy 2025: Strengthening Cyber Capacity for Law Enforcement and Prosecutors, a key program of the bank to help boost the country's cybersecurity.

Co-organized with the Philippine National Police (PNP), the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG), and the Department of Justice–Office of Cybercrime (DOJ-OOC), the two-day learning session was attended by over 70 participants, including officers from the Southern Police District’s Anti-Cybercrime Group, representatives from PNP-ACG, and prosecutors from across Metro Manila.

This initiative reinforces the bank’s commitment to advancing national cyber readiness through sustained public-private collaboration.

: BPI led the pack of Philippine firms named by TIME and Statista as among Asia-Pacific’s Best Companies of 2026, emerging as the only one from the country to make it to the top 10.

The annual ranking evaluates 500 of the region’s leading companies using three key metrics: employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. BPI took 10th spot on the prestigious list.

“This recognition is meaningful because it reflects how BPI continues to perform across the pillars that matter—our people, our financial strength, and our responsibility to society—while building a better Philippines, one family, one community at a time,” said TG Limcaoco, President and CEO of BPI.

BPI’s inclusion in the Top 10 comes as the bank prepares to mark a historic milestone, celebrating 175 years on August 1 this year.

“As we celebrate our 175th year, this recognition affirms that our long-term strategy is delivering results while staying true to our mission of being a trusted financial partner that nurtures our customers’ future. It also strengthens our resolve to keep driving meaningful progress—for generations to come,” TG added.
