What is TDP?

TDP is a subsidy to support at least the partial cost of tertiary education, inclusive of education-related expenses of the Filipino students enrolled in SUCs, CHED-Recognized LUCs, and Private Higher Education Institutions.

BENEFITS OF TDP

➡️ Php 7,500.00 per semester or Php 15,000.00 per academic year

**Starting 2026-2027, the TDP grant will be provided on a per-semester basis, subject to the availability of funds and CHED's budget allocation.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

☑️ Must be a Filipino Citizen

☑️ Must be enrolled at PUP for the 1st Semester AY 2026-2027

☑️ NOT a recipient of other CHED Scholarships like Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES), CHED Scholarship Programs (CSPs), DOST Scholarship, or any national government-funded StuFAPs except FHE and AICs;

☑️ NO existing scholarship or financial assistance

☑️Willing and available to submit HARD COPIES of requirements to the PUP Main Campus IF approved.

✅Accomplished UniFAST Tulong Dunong Application Form (Version 2026) with an attached 2x2 ID picture.

✅PUP SIS-generated copy of the Certificate of Registration or Registration Form for the 1st Semester AY 2026-2027. (Please do not upload documents other than the COR/Registration Form. Applicants who submit other documents will be automatically removed from the applicant list.)

✅Original Certificate of Indigency with dry seal-Scholarship purpose. (Please ensure that the address stated in the TDP Application Form matches the address declared in the Barangay Indigency.)

*In cases only when the Certificate of Indigency cannot be secured, the applicant may submit either:
* Certificate of Tax Exemption
* Social Case Study issued by a registered Social Worker

PUP and IGNAJO Foundation, Inc. Strengthen Partnership to Expand Opportunities for PUP CADBE Students

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), through the Office of Scholarship and Financial Assistance (OSFA), formalized its partnership with IGNAJO Foundation, Inc. through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), which aims to create greater opportunities and support for the College of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment (CADBE) students.

The MOA signing ceremony was held at the ARCDO Conference Room, PUP A. Mabini Campus, Sta. Mesa, Manila, bringing together the university officials and representatives from IGNAJO Foundation, Inc. for the partnership anchored on student development, educational assistance, and other opportunities.

The program opened with a prayer led by a Kapatiran ng Talino at Galing (KATAGA) official, followed by the welcome remarks and overview of the partnership delivered by Dr. Glenda D. Salorsano, Chief of the PUP Funded Section of OSFA.

Representing PUP were Prof. Tomas O. Testor, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, Engr. Ana Liza R. Publico, Director of OSFA, and Ar. Emilie T. Garcia, Dean of the College of Architecture, Design, and the Built Environment (CADBE). IGNAJO Foundation Inc. was represented by Ms. Ma. Katrina Y. Esquivel, Vice President, and Ms. Cyrah O. Naño, Program Coordinator.

In her message, Ms. Esquivel expressed the Foundation’s excitement for partnership and shared her recognition of PUP’s strong academic programs. Citing her experience in human resources, she noted that many applicants in the company’s engineering and architecture fields came from PUP, reflecting the University’s reputation for producing capable graduates.

She also pointed out the performance of PUP’s Interior Design program, noting its 100% passing rate for the year and the presence of topnotchers among its graduates. For Ms. Esquivel, these accomplishments demonstrate the quality of education that PUP provides.

“We’re very, very excited to see what this could bring us,” Ms. Esquivel said, emphasizing the Foundation’s desire to further develop the partnership through meaningful engagement with students.

The partnership represents a shared commitment by extending support to students and opening pathways that can contribute to both academic and professional growth. It also shows the value of collaboration between the academe and external partners in advancing student-centered initiatives.

The ceremony concluded with messages from VP Testor, Dean Garcia, Ms. Esquivel, and Dir. Publico, with Dr. Salorsano serving as the Master of Ceremonies.

Through this partnership, PUP and IGNAJO Foundation, Inc. will be able to translate the institutional collaboration into meaningful opportunities for students.

| In view of the nationwide transport strike scheduled on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, classes across all PUP campuses and academic extension programs in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be held via 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Faculty members may determine the appropriate consideration to affected students given the limited transport operations in these areas.
