Before the renewal period begins, make sure to prepare the following requirements:

✅ Copy of grades for the last school year/term attended
✅ Proof of enrollment, registration, or acceptance for the current school year
✅ Leave of Absence (for scholars who will not be able to renew for the coming term/school year)

𝐅𝐄𝐔 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡

Far Eastern University (FEU) Manila formally solidified its commitment to accessible education through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony held on May 4 at the FEU Manila campus. The event marked the official launch of a collaborative scholarship program with Congressman Egay Erice of the 2nd District of Caloocan, aimed at supporting talented but financially challenged students.

The ceremony was attended by key officials from both institutions, including FEU President Juan Miguel Montinola, Vice President for Admissions and Financial Assistance Michelle Acomular, and the Dean of the Institute of Health Sciences and Nursing, John Anthony Yason. Congressman Egay Erice led his team from the 2nd District of Caloocan to formalize the partnership, which establishes a framework for academic and financial support for deserving residents of his district.

Under this agreement, qualified Scholars from Caloocan City District 2 will receive financial assistance from the External Grantor paired with partial tuition discounts from FEU. The program is designed to span across all year levels, ensuring that students have a consistent support system throughout their academic journey at FEU. To maintain their status, scholars are required to meet specific retention requirements and provide regular updates on their academic performance.

This partnership reflects a shared vision of empowering the youth through quality education. By combining the resources of a premier educational institution and the local government’s educational assistance program, the initiative seeks to remove financial barriers for students who demonstrate high potential and dedication to their studies. The agreement is set for an initial duration of four school years, with annual reviews to ensure the program effectively meets the needs of its beneficiaries.
