➡️Starting April 30, 2026, the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Hong Kong is launching a new Online Employment Contract Verification System (OECVS).
➡️This system provides a more convenient option for eligible Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to verify their contracts digitally without visiting the MWO office in person.
➡️Online Verification Process
📍The basic workflow for using the OECVS portal includes the following steps:
👉Portal Access: Visit the official verification portal at dmw.dataflowgroup.com.
👉Upload Documents: Upload required files, including your passport, employment visa/HKID, and the employment contract.
👉Payment: Pay the convenience fee online.
👉Evaluation: Wait for the MWO to review your application; you will receive status updates via email.
👉Approval & Final Fee: If approved, pay the official verification fee through the portal.
👉Download: Once finalized, download your verified contract report directly from the site.
✅Your Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) can then be downloaded from the DMW eReg portal after 24 hours.
➡️Availability: Starting April 30, 2026 for HK-based OFWs.
👉Processing Time: The typical turnaround time for online applications is approximately three working days.
👉On-Site Alternative: For those who cannot use the online system, on-site verification remains available at the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong.
Fees: As of March 1, 2026, the verification fee for new contracts is HK$320, while renewals and transfers remain at HK$80.
