I entered Sun Life without any idea what insurance is. I just know, we need money, and I need to have a part time work that can be done in my most convenient time.
My work in Sun Life made a lot of things possible. I was able to work while being with my mom in the hospital (together with the presence and support of our relatives and family friends). I was able to meet and reunite with a lot of friends from my previous schools and workplace and get to meet new people. Friends became client and clients became friends. My sister was able to permanently go back and live with me here in the Philippines since she also entered Sun Life. I was able to travel to and experience Korea (and supposed to be, Shangrila Boracay) together with my sister and partner and workmates. I was able to buy the things that I want (tho sometimes I donโt necessarily need) and the most important thing, I was able to spend a lot of time with my family. Ultimong sa panganak ng kapatid ko, our momโs last day, etc. With Sun Life, I will be able to provide assistance to my clients and families of my clients in case they need it in the future.
I am not rich and I donโt really dream of becoming one. I simply want to be what my Mama and Papa always want us to be โ a person who is responsible and will help other people to the best of our ability. Sun Life made that dream possible. I know that every life we secure is a life that is better for my client and his family.
Sabi nga ni Ate Iona nung isang araw, bakit kasi ang aga nyo pong nawala, Mama Leah and Papa Obet? Itโs just the start for me sa pag-abot ng mga pangarap at sana pagtupad sa gusto ni Mama na makapagtravel sa mas marami pang lugar at mabilhan sana ng mas maraming Hello Kitty items. Wherever you are, I know that you are always looking after us and with that, I hope I made you proud. We love you.
To my clients/friends, family, Ate Iona, Carmi, to my manager Rowell na minsan wala na akong tiwala sa sarili ko pero sya, meron pa rin, to our lovely bosses, SM Roselle, BM Amy, Ms Pauline, Ms Mylene and to whole Sun Life family, to our naggagandahang secretaries (Jessy, Merose, Ma Nikka, Mae, Bern, Kim andami nyo!) I wouldnโt be here without you. Sa inyo po ang lahat ng pasasalamat. ๐
To my advisors Jeff, Carmi, Patrick, Jerome, Jeni, thank you for the trust that you gave to me. I promise that Iโll give the best that I can para matulungan kayong maabot ang mga pangarap nyo. Walang iwanan, at lahat tayo, sabay aangat! โฅ๏ธ
