I am teacher and research assistant before I became a financial advisor and manager.
Habang lumalaki ako, laging sabi ng nanay ko na kapag may pagkakataon, tulungan namin ang mga kailangan ng tulong. :) I saw how she did it by offering her help and assistance, malaki o maliit, basta kaya nya, tutulong sya.
Kaya nung lumaki ako, ang isang pinaka nasa isip ko, paano ba ako makakatulong? The answer was simple, I need to part of the teaching community. And so fast forward, I became a licensed Math teacher.
Honestly, we were not taught na maghanap ng pera. Syempre, we needed money to survive, pero we were not taught na maghanap ng bagay na ikakayaman namin. ๐
Sabi pa nga ni Mama, if manalo sya sa lotto, itutulong din nya ang money na makukuha nya.
Pero ganoon pala yun, pag nakakatulong ka na, you will be blessed too. I was then introduced to Sun Life and the rest was history.
Dito, I was able to meet a lot of people and even though I cannot give them monetary help, I know through our financial planning sessions, I was able to help them manage their finances better. At alam ko rin, na one day, Iโd be able to help their family too.
Andito ako sa picture nung 2019 doing what I love the most โ to teach. This time nga lang, mas marami na akong estudyante at mas dadami pa. :)
