Mel, bumili ako ng insurance para just in case kailanganin ko alam kong may paghuhugutan ako ng funds, magkasakit man ako hindi ko na problemahin yung medications pero bakit mas okay pala na hindi na lang siya magamit.

This is our non-verbatim conversation with my client (26-year-old, female) after she asked me if may macocover ba yung insurance niya sa upcoming surgery niya dahil may nakitang bukol sa breast niya during her Annual Physical Examination (APE).

After ko marinig yung sinabi niya, napaisip ako buti na lang may option siya, may peace of mind siya kahit papaano, if something serious happens after the surgery, merong sasalo ng treatment.

Truth is, we don’t get insurance because we want to use it.
