Go, liquidate BFSMB. But, please re-apply OCBC liquidation model to depositors of BFSMB with uninsured balances for shorter recovery period in order to benefit and give relief to seniors citizens, pensioners, who need most our mercy.

By this time you could have realized that no amount of cogressional investigation & resolution, and concunrrent fireworks before the media, can compel or cause the re-opening the closed BFSMB. Because the authority, power & discretion to do so lies with the Monetary Board with the recommendation of the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation. Kung kaya, magpakumbaba na lang sila Aguirre, Yasay, atbp at i-abandon na ang cause of action for P/18.9B damages against BSP at hilingin na lang ang release in tranches ng P/25B rehabilitation assistance package ng BSP (kung kaya pang gawin at ibigay ni Gov. Tetangco at ng kanyang MB).

Good news! Initial reports culled from the hearing yesterday, 17 May 2011, of the House Committee on Banks & Financial Intermediaries tell that PDIC EVP Violeta Orbeta personally prefers BF REHABILITATION or SALE IN ITS ENTIRETY over BF piece by piece liquidation, a reiteration of what she hinted to MMBFDA during the 4 May 2010 mtg at the PDIC Main Office, Makati. BSP does not object to BF rehabilitation should it be capable thereof, but it will not use government funds for the purpose. And, should there be willing takers of BF in its entirety, they will be screened by BSP and must be found acceptable to them. Same BSP statements to MMBFDA during the 13 May 2011 mtg at BSP Multi-Storey Bldg., Harrison St., Malate, Manila.
