In celebration of the international Day of Cooperatives, MAVENCO joins the Mangrove Planting and Coastal Clean-up Activity held in Kalawisan, Lapu-Lapu City, together with the Quad Cities of Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu City, and Talisay City.

The activity was initiated by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) as part of its commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and encouraging cooperatives to actively uphold the 7th Cooperative Principle: Concern for Community. Through this initiative, cooperatives united to help restore and protect coastal ecosystems while raising awareness of the importance of environmental conservation.

MAVENCO's participation reflects its unwavering commitment to creating a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable community. Together with our active CEO, Jay Roble along with our staff and aflatoun members joined fellow cooperators in planting mangrove seedlings and cleaning the coastal area, demonstrating that collective action can make a meaningful impact on preserving our natural resources for future generations.

More than an environmental activity, the event served as a reminder that cooperatives play a vital role in community development. By working together, we not only strengthen our commitment to environmental stewardship but also embody the true spirit of cooperation, solidarity, and social responsibility.

As we celebrate the International Day of Cooperatives, MAVENCO remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that protect the environment, empower communities, and contribute to sustainable development for the benefit of present and future generations.

MAVENCO Jingle: "A Song of Unity, Service, and Growth"

Music has always been a powerful way to inspire people and strengthen a sense of belonging. For MAVENCO Cooperative, the MAVENCO Jingle serves as more than just a song—it is a reflection of the cooperative's mission, vision, and commitment to its members.

The MAVENCO Jingle embodies the cooperative spirit of unity, mutual help, and financial empowerment. Through its uplifting melody and meaningful lyrics, it reminds members that MAVENCO is not only a financial institution but also a trusted partner in achieving their dreams and improving their quality of life.

Since its establishment in 1999, MAVENCO Cooperative has grown from a small group of market vendors into a thriving multipurpose cooperative serving thousands of members across Cebu. The cooperative has continuously expanded its services beyond lending, offering savings programs, business development opportunities, and social services to its members.

The MAVENCO Jingle reinforces these values by promoting teamwork, responsibility, and community development. Whenever it is played during cooperative events, assemblies, orientations, and celebrations, it creates a sense of pride among members and employees alike. The song reminds everyone that success is achieved through cooperation and shared commitment.

More than entertainment, the jingle serves as an expression of MAVENCO's identity. It communicates the cooperative's dedication to excellence, integrity, and service. As MAVENCO continues to grow and reach more communities, the jingle remains a symbol of hope, progress, and the enduring cooperative spirit that unites its members.

Indeed, the MAVENCO Jingle is not merely a song—it is the voice of a cooperative that continues to empower lives, strengthen communities, and build a brighter future for all.

Last June 1–6, 2026, MAVENCO actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela preparations prior to the official opening of classes. This year's Brigada Eskwela carried the theme "Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa kaayusan at kaalaman."

As part of our commitment to supporting quality education and promoting a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for students, MAVENCO distributed various cleaning and sanitation supplies to schools within Mandaue City. The donated items included dishwashing liquid and fabric conditioner (product of MAVENCO Youth Laboratory Cooperative), pails, brushes, toilet cleaners, tissue paper, and tote bags.

Through this initiative, we were able to extend assistance to more than 30 schools, helping teachers, parents, and community in preparing classrooms and school facilities for the start of the new academic year. Moreover, we uphold to continue our assistance until we reach 40 schools in the coming days.

This activity reflects MAVENCO's continued dedication to community development and education through the spirit of bayanihan, demonstrating that by working together, we can create better learning environments for our students and contribute to their success.

MAVENCO remains committed to supporting programs that promote education, community engagement, and the welfare of the youth.

At the CLIMBS General Assembly 2026, held on April 28–29, 2026, at NUSTAR, Cebu, Mandaue City Public Market Vendors Multipurpose Cooperative (MAVENCO) stood proudly as a cooperative that continues to turn service into meaningful impact. MAVENCO was recognized as one of the Top Premium Producers, Champion for Climate Action, and New Millionaire – Silver in Consolidated Life and Non-Life Premium Production. These recognitions tell a story far greater than numbers and rankings, they speak of a cooperative committed to protecting dreams, preparing families for life’s uncertainties, and building a more resilient future.

For MAVENCO, insurance is more than a product, it is a promise of protection. Every premium produced represents a family given peace of mind, a member given added security, and a future made less uncertain. These awards reflect the cooperative’s strong effort to bring life and non-life insurance closer to its members, helping them understand that preparedness is one of the greatest forms of care.
