2026 Representative Assembly

Mandaue City Public Market Vendors Multipurpose Cooperative (MAVENCO) successfully conducted its 2026 Representative Assembly on March 28, 2026, bringing together officers, representatives, partners, and members in a meaningful celebration of unity, growth, and cooperative excellence. The event formally opened with a Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. John Paul Tanquis, followed by the Welcome Address delivered by our BOD Chairperson Luisita Valdueza. An Audio-Visual Presentation featuring heartfelt member testimonials was also showcased, highlighting the positive impact of MAVENCO in improving the lives of its members and communities through financial services, empowerment programs, and cooperative solidarity.

The assembly was honored by the presence of distinguished guests and speakers who shared inspiring and congratulatory messages. The Inspirational Message was delivered by Saldy Balate CDS II on behalf of CDA R7 Regional Director Cristina H. Villamil, emphasizing the important role of cooperatives in nation-building and community empowerment. A Congratulatory Message was also delivered by Faith Lavandero on behalf of the VP/Head of Northe Lending Center Landbank Eulalio G. Lagapa Jr. , while another congratulatory message was shared by the COO of NATCCO Mr. Glenn Medez, recognizing MAVENCO’s continued growth and success. The event was further highlighted by the Keynote Speech delivered by the Executive Assistant on Cooperative Affairs of Mandaue City Mr. Emedio Bustillo, who inspired attendees through his message on the value of cooperatives in uplifting communities and creating opportunities for every Filipino.

One of the highlights of the assembly was the recognition and awarding ceremony honoring Early Birds, 2025 Top Depositors, recipients of the Longevity Awards for Staff, and Top Aflatoun Depositors for their loyalty and invaluable contribution to the cooperative’s success. The event then proceeded with the Business Proper, which included important discussions and the proclamation of the newly elected Board of Directors and committees. Excitement filled the venue as major raffle prizes were drawn before the gathering concluded with the Closing Remarks delivered by CEO Jay Roble, who expressed sincere gratitude to all members, partners, officers, and guests for their unwavering trust and support, reaffirming MAVENCO’s commitment to continue being “Your Partner in Growth.”

OPERATION TULI 2026

The Mandaue City Public Market Vendors Multipurpose Cooperative (MAVENCO) successfully carried out its Operation Tuli on April 24, 2026, at the Barangay Lo-oc Gym in Mandaue City, in partnership with Dr. Bonito Zanoria and the Single Parents Association of Barangay Lo-oc.

A total of 51 children received free circumcision services from licensed medical professionals, supported by volunteers who ensured the children were cared for in a safe and comforting environment. Each child was also given free aftercare medicines to support proper healing.

The activity was led by MRDO Joabet Lugo, together with his committed team, Dondie Yuro (Aflatoun Coordinator), Ian Limalima (Aflatoun Collector), and Jonas Cabase (Coop Assurance Coordinator) whose coordination and dedication helped bring the service to families who needed it most.

Beyond the medical service, the activity was a simple but meaningful act of care seen in the relief of parents, the courage of the children, and the shared effort of everyone who made the day possible. It reflected MAVENCO’s sincere commitment to reach out, serve, and uplift the community through practical and compassionate service.

MAVENCO Donation Drive Brings Joy to SOS Children's Village

On January 3, 2026, a meaningful donation drive was successfully conducted at SOS Village Talamban, Cebu City, in coordination with Cebu Ores. The initiative aimed to bring joy and support to the children through a day filled with generosity, entertainment, and community spirit.

The program opened with a Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. John Paul Tanquis, setting a solemn and reflective tone for the event. This was followed by lively caroling performances from Cebu Ores, filling the venue with cheerful melodies that brought the spirit of Christmas, much to the delight of the children. Afterwards, the MAVENCO Performing Arts Guild Dance Troupe delivered an energetic dance presentation, captivating the audience with their synchronized movements and vibrant rhythms that brought excitement to every beat.

Adding to the celebration, the children of SOS Village showcased their talents through energetic dance presentations. Their performances highlighted not only their creativity and confidence but also brought smiles and inspiration to everyone in attendance.

The highlight of the activity was the formal distribution of donations, where essential goods and gifts were shared with the children. This gesture of kindness emphasized the spirit of compassion, unity, and service among all participants.

The donation drive stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and community involvement. Through the collective efforts of MAVENCO and Cebu Ores, the event became a memorable and heartwarming experience for everyone involved.
