Most Davaoñeos probably know Mr. EIGHT ESPINO, the owner of Eight Productions.
I have been telling him to get an insurance policy with AXA since 2019. But as most young professionals, they will tell us (Financial Advisors) that they might not be able to use it, because they are healthy. For example “sa 30 years nako na nabuhi wala pa man ko na hospital, okay lang walay insurance. Gasto lang mana.”
But thank God I was so persistent. I kept messaging Eight about any updates on our products. He kept saying “maybe next time”, until COVID-19 happened.
He messaged me on my FB post about COVID-19 coverage of our Global Health Access product. So then he decided to get an insurance policy, because he wanted to have a peace of mind that whatever happens AXA will pay for all COVID-19 hospitalization expense.
On June 2020 he only paid an insurance premium of PHP26,208.00, then he got into an accident on September 2020, he was rushed to the Emergency Room, and later undergone a surgery which cost almost HALF A MILLION.
AXA paid for EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!
That was really a moment 💙💙💙 Thank you AXA!
Then he said to me “Kim, para sa covid-19 ko lang sana kinuha yung Global Health Access, sinong mag aakala na I will get into an accident and will cost this much. Mabuti nalang kinulit mo ako.”
I hope we learned something from his experience. Life is surely uncertain. We can only buy insurance when we are still healthy. Kasi kahit na billionaire ka pa all insurance companies will reject you when you are no longer healthy.
