You’re not behind.
You’re just comparing your chapter 1
to someone’s chapter 20.
Let me explain.
You scroll through your feed
and everyone seems ahead.
The classmate with the house.
The friend with the business.
The batchmate na sosyal na ang buhay.
And you sit there thinking
you missed something.
That you’re slow.
That you’re behind.
Here’s the problem with that.
You’re staring at their chapter 20
while you’re still writing your chapter 1.
You see the result.
You didn’t see the years.
You didn’t see the version of them
that wanted to quit.
The nights they doubted everything.
The chapter 3 that fell apart.
The chapter 7 nobody clapped for.
You’re comparing your behind-the-scenes
to someone else’s highlight reel.
And that comparison is the fastest way
to kill something before it even starts.
Kasi pag naisip mong huli ka na,
hihinto ka na.
Kahit kakaumpisa mo pa lang.
So here’s the reframe.
You’re not behind.
You’re early.
Early in your story.
Early in your growth.
Early in becoming the person
that other people
will one day compare themselves to.
So stop measuring your race
using someone else’s clock.
Wala kang hinahabol.
Honor and trust your own journey. 🌱
