Thinking of bidding for a freelance work? Here are some tips from http://bidservices.ph/ that will help ensure you'll get the contract work you want.
.) Know the Client. As with any other job, the first order of business is to know who you will be working for. Check out the profile to determine if the person runs a legitimate company and if there are comments that will help you establish the person's credibility.
.) Avoid Bidding Too Low. Offering a low price for the work you will render may seem like a good idea, thinking that potential clients' will easily take the bite. However, advertising work for an extremely low cost significantly reduces your professionalism and demeans your capability. Rather than going for a cheap deal, stick to the going rate so more clients will take you seriously.
.) Don't Try Something Illegal. There are instances when you'll encounter well-paying gigs that are actually illegal or scams. Jobs like these should be avoided at all cost. There are numerous legitimate opportunities out there, you just have to learn to dip your toes to find them.
.) Understand What You're Getting Into. Before you agree on anything with a potential client, make sure you are aware of the entire work process. That means, you should know the project that needs to be done, the payment procedures, project timeline, etc. Being informed will certainly help you avoid "pirate" clients, those that ask for something more than previously agreed.
