Updates from the Department of Health this 2 August:

There are 5,032 people newly confirmed with . The total confirmed cases in the Philippines are now 103,185. Of the confirmed cases, 35,569 are active.

301 additional people with COVID-19 have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 65,557.

Sadly, 20 people with COVID-19 have died. The total COVID-19 related deaths are now 2,059.

We express our sympathies to the loved ones of the 20 people who passed away.
