🚀 Innovation starts with great ideas and collaborative minds!

DOST- BULSU BARAS TBI recently conducted a productive meeting with student startup teams from the College of Science, Bulacan State University. The session served as a platform for aspiring innovators to present their startup concepts, exchange insights, and explore opportunities for growth within the startup ecosystem.

Featured startups included AGOS, PlanTipid, BudgetIt, GasPera, Sulong: From Farm to Table, Burnout, and ForgeSure, each offering innovative solutions that address challenges in disaster preparedness, financial management, agriculture, sustainability, and personal wellness.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to introduce BARAS TBI’s programs and support initiatives designed to help transform promising ideas into impactful ventures. Through collaboration, mentorship, and innovation, these young entrepreneurs continue to demonstrate the potential of science and technology in creating solutions for society.

DOST-BulSU BARAS TBI joined fellow Technology Business Incubators, DOST representatives, and ecosystem partners in a productive planning meeting for the upcoming 1TBI North Luzon Benchmarking and Immersion Program.

The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration among TBIs, finalizing event preparations, and creating opportunities for knowledge exchange and innovation-driven partnerships. As the selected benchmarking site, DOST-BulSU BARAS TBI looks forward to showcasing best practices in startup incubation and contributing to the continuous growth of the innovation ecosystem in Northern Luzon.

The BARAS TBI team stayed connected via a Zoom meeting yesterday to kick off our orientation and planning for the upcoming OneTBI event, scheduled for June 22–24, 2026.

OneTBI is a key gathering for Technology Business Incubators, designed to unify efforts in fostering innovation. These sessions are essential for aligning our goals, sharing resources, and ensuring that we continue to provide the best possible support for our local startups and entrepreneurs.

DOST-PCAARRD is now accepting proposals for the 2026 Startup Grant Fund (SGF) Program.

The SGF Program offers financial and technical support to eligible startup and spinoff companies commercializing technologies in the agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources (AANR) sector. It prioritizes ventures with strong potential for market adoption and measurable contributions to national development. The initiative aims to accelerate the growth of innovation-driven enterprises while strengthening the country’s agri-aqua innovation ecosystem. Submission of proposals is on May 15, 2026.

DOST-PCAARRD encourages startup and spinoff companies to take advantage of this opportunity to access funding and scale up their technologies toward market readiness and impact.
