Habang pinapanood ko yung kwento ni Kaye Abad and her battle with breast cancer, napaisip talaga akoโฆ
Life can change so quietly and so suddenly. ๐ฅบ
Minsan akala natin okay lang lahat because we look healthy, we eat healthy, masaya ang buhayโฆ pero isang check-up lang pala can completely change everything.
Ang sakit talaga, walang pinipili.
What touched me the most was this:
Because they were financially prepared, they were able to focus on treatment and healing โ hindi sa problema ng pambayad sa hospital.
And as a mom and financial educator, sobrang tumatak sakin yung thought na:
โWhat if one day, tayo naman?โ
What if tayo yung biglang magkasakit?
What if tayo yung mangailangan ng tulong?
Kaya hindi ako nagsasawang i-remind yung kilala kong parents and bread winner to prepare habang maaga pa.
Hindi dahil nega tayo.
Hindi dahil gusto nating isipin yung worst case.
But because we love our family enough to protect them from unnecessary stress when hard times come.
Critical illness coverage and insurance are not just for โdeath.โ
They are for moments when life suddenly becomes heavyโฆ and your family needs financial support habang lumalaban ka.
That kind of peace?
Napakalaking blessing nun.
Health is fragile.
Life is unpredictable.
But preparing for the unexpected is one of the best ways we can love our family.
