Your enemy? That person you are not comfortable with? That person you hate? That person you want to hurt?

Jesus suffered for that person on the Cross too.
Jesus loves that person too.
God created that person too.
That person is also a child of God.

Before you let hatred take root in your heart, remember that the same blood that saved you was shed also for them.

At the foot of the Cross, there was no exemption clause,

no “except your enemy,”

no “except the one who hurt you.”

When Jesus Christ stretched out His arms on Calvary, He carried every sin, every failure, every broken story including yours and including theirs.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was right. It means you trust God enough to let Him be the Judge. If Christ could love them enough to die for them, who are we to withhold love completely?

The Cross reminds us that we were once enemies of grace too, we are sinners too yet God chose mercy and forgiveness.

Let's keep on praying for each other.
