No office. No fixed schedule. No boss.
Sounds like the dream right?
What people don't tell you is that "no boss" also means YOU are the boss, the marketing team, the admin, the customer service rep, and the accountant — all at the same time.
Fridays for me usually look like this: wrapping up client follow-ups, prepping content for next week, answering DMs, and somewhere in between all of that — trying to actually be present for the people at home.
It's a lot. Some days are harder than others. But I genuinely wouldn't trade it.
9 years in and I still feel like I'm building something. Not just a business — but something that actually matters to the people I work with.
That's enough to keep going.
