A NEW DIRECT CONNECTION BETWEEN THE PHILIPPINES AND ISRAEL 🇵🇭✈️🇮🇱
A significant milestone in Philippines-Israel relations has just been announced: direct nonstop flights between and are set to begin in January 2027.
Israeli airline Arkia Israeli Airlines will launch the new Tel Aviv-Manila direct route on January 3, 2027, with a weekly flight connecting Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) and Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL).
The approximately 12-hour nonstop service will mark an important new chapter in connectivity between our two countries, bringing the and closer than ever before.
For the Israel Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ICCP), this is far more than a new air route.
Direct connectivity has the potential to create new opportunities for bilateral , , , , , and people-to-people relations between the Philippines and Israel.
The announcement also reinforces the broader momentum in Philippines-Israel economic relations. Philippine Ambassador to Israel Aileen Mendiola -Rau has highlighted the potential of direct connectivity to open further commercial and opportunities between the two countries, alongside aspirations to advance discussions on a future free trade agreement.
It will make it easier for Filipino and Israeli business , , , and to connect, explore and build partnerships across both markets.
The Philippines and Israel already share a long-standing friendship. A direct Manila-Tel Aviv flight can help translate that relationship into even stronger economic and commercial engagement.
