Fruitas Holding, Inc. (FRUIT) opens its first franchised store in Dubai.

The first Fruitas Holdings overseas kiosk is located in BurJuman shopping which offers several product lines such as fruit shakes, pearl shakes and milk tea. It also include some Filipino desserts like halo-halo.

FRUIT has 60 new kiosks and community stores pipelined this year in the Philippines. With the company taking advantage of the pandemic and acquiring prime locations, is this a sign that FRUIT is already looking at an economic recovery in the near future?

International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICT) announces placement of Treasury Shares.

In a disclosure submitted to PSE, the Company is set to issue up to 40M common shares from its treasury (Treasury shares are shares that were previously outstanding, but have been reacquired by the company).

The proceeds of the sale will be used for general corporate purposes and funding capital expenditures.

As ICT seeks funding by issuing additional shares in the market, how can this affect its current share price of 116.80?

LT Group, Inc. (LTG) declared a special cash dividends of P0.15 per share.

In a disclosure submitted to PSE, all shareholders of record as of December 9, 2020 shall be entitled to the said dividend payable not later than December 16, 2020.

LTG declared a total of P0.81 in dividends this year, which is equivalent to 5.92% yield based on today's closing price of 13.68. Do you think this is an indicator that LTG has enough cash to support business operations while declaring generous dividends to investors?

Vista Land & Lifescapes, Inc. (VLL) plans to list its own REIT next year.

In a letter addressed to PSE PDEx dated November 18, 2020, VLL confirmed its interest in bundling its commercial real estate assets into a real estate investment trust (REIT) targeted for listing next year.

After the listing of the first ever REIT this year by Ayala Land, Inc., followed by the plan of Double Dragon to launch their own, it is a big possibility that VLL will pursue the plan. Do you think that VLL, which is known for their residential real estate, can compete with ALI and DD's commercial presence?

Megawide Construction Corporation (MWIDE) was awarded two projects with combined contract price of around Php 6.3 billion.

In a disclosure submitted by Suntrust Home Developers (SUN), it stated that the management issued two Letters of Award (LOA) to MWIDE on November 13 for a project relating to a development of a 5-star hotel and casino.

With the said awards, MWIDE may have already secured more than six billion in revenues in the coming years and help in the Company's growth despite the pandemic situation. Do you think its a good time to invest in MWIDE?

Manila Electric Company's (MER) subsidiary to increase investment in renewable energy (RE), from 1,000MW to 2,000MW.

Meralco PowerGen Corporation President and CEO Rogelio L. Singson confirms in a disclosure submitted to PSE that while the initial plan of 1,000MW for RE to reach commercial operations in five years is still the goal, they are looking at escalating their target to 2,000MW.

An article published in asian-power.com last August 27, 2020 stated that Meralco is open to revised their purchase agreements which will indicate that they could buy less power from coal-fired generators based on certain conditions.

With these developments, how can this affect the coal producers in the Philippines as Meralco opens its doors to renewable energy?

Globe Telecom, Inc. (GLO) declared cash dividend amount to 31.33php per common share. Shareholders on record as of November 17 is entitled to the dividend payable on December 3.

Based on this year's disclosures, GLO declared a total of 107.99php cash dividend for the year 2020, which was paid on a quarterly basis 27.00, 24.83, 24.83 and 31.33, respectively.

While GLO has maintained the dividend payments for 2020 despite the pandemic, we cannot ignore the emergence of new competitors, the pressure of upgrading infrastructures, and the demand for better service. With these factors in mind, is GLO as a company still a good investment?
