The most common and deadly illnesses in the Philippines today are mostly non-communicable diseases (NCDs) โ meaning long-term conditions linked to lifestyle, diet, smoking, stress, and aging. Infectious diseases are still significant too, especially dengue, tuberculosis, and pneumonia.
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)๏ฟผ, the top causes of death in 2025 were:
