As a Licensed ICU Nurse and Financial Advisor, one of my mission is to promote financial literacy and help others prepare for uncertainties while having a healthy lifestyle. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Thou wala akong binayaran sa hospital bills na worth almost โ‚ฑ200,000, I got โ‚ฑ120,000 from my Hospital confinement for 9 days galing sa hospital income benefit riders ng insurances ko, kumita pa ko! FLEX ko lang ang Sun Life for giving it to me in just less than a week upon filing it!

FYI everyone! Let's have a reality check.

Based on my personal experience this statistic is 100% true! Kampante ka na ba sa 200k HMO mo? Diagnosis palang ubos na 'yan! Sobrang mahal magkasakit dito sa atin sa Pilipinas!

Depnde pa 'yan sa quality ng health care na pipiliin mo.
Kung ayaw mo sa akin maniwala, ayan na si mareng Google na nagsasabi sainyo.

NUMBER 1 main reason people loose everything they worked so hard for for many years is MEDICAL EXPENSES. Don't let it happen! Be smart. It's your hard-earned money. Protect it!

And promise, give yourself and your family a favor and save yourselves from the stress you will encounter sa paghahanap pambayad sa hospital bills at pambili ng gamot.

Palagi ko na iisip na my lupus journey will be so much different if only I had the money right away for treatments when I got diagnosed last year. Sobrang hirap magkasakit may iniinda ka na physically kino-concern mo pa ang pera, 'di mo mapagawa mga treatments and procedures kasi walang pera. Bawat kibot pa naman satin dito may bayad. Having that kind of experience made me genuinely care and worried about everyone thinking you will experience what I have experienced. Especially to those who do not have health insurance. This made me motivated and it became my advocacy, health coverage for everyone!

Mura lang ng insurance compare sa benefits na makukuha ninyo. And lalo na kung alam mong walang ibang tutulong sainyo kapag magkasakit kayo.

And diba, sickness is inevitable. In our lifetime magkakasakit at magkakasakit din tayo, especially at old age. It's just a matter of when. Be sure that you are financially prepared when that time comes.
