A St. Peter Story... ๐๐
One of our Clients who availed of of a Life Plan passed away, so the Family called us to inquire what to do and I was ready to assist them and tell how beneficial their Father's Plan is:
1. Since Client is Insurable when he got the plan, it means subsequent payment (3 years left) is waived. No need to pay remaining balance.
2. Family will get Cash Assistance Benefit equivalent to Total Contract Price of P157,500 (31,500 x 5 Years) even though Client paid for 2 Years only.
3. Client gets complete Memorial Service. From retrieval of remains, to preparation (embalming, makeup etc), casket, viewing (4 days in Chapel or 9 days at home) and assistance until interment.
4. St Peter's Tribute, a special program to commemorate his Life, will be given by the Saint Peters Team when a slideshow of his memories will be shown to his loved ones.
5. Family will have Peace of Mind knowing that in this grievous moment, they can concentrate on mourning and will have the convenience of letting others take care of this matter instead.
I was ready and, morbid as it may seem, excited to inform them. But Alas! Instead of elation, I became aghast. When I checked the Plan's Status - ๐ข๐ญ ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐... ๐ฅ
I asked, "What Happened!?" And our Office Admin said, "Sir, di na tinuloy ni client. Gastos lang daw kasi. Ayun, hindi daw priority..."
Nobody wants to be the bearer of Bad News, but someone has to do it and the burden fell on me. Ending? They had to shell out much much more (mas mahal kasi pag may patay na) and had to scramble for abuloy and make utang from kamag-anaks to settle their due.
Sayang...napakasayang. At nalulungkot ako. Dahil napakalaking tulong sana sa naiwang pamilya kung hindi nagpabaya.
Kaya PLEASE Kapatid. Alagaan ang mga Plans and Policies ha. Maging Memorial Plan man yan or Life Insurance. Magsisilibing malaking sandigan yan pagdating ng panahon. At kung wala ka pa, marahil ito na ang tamang panahon para tayo magsimula. - BG
Ctto. Thank you!
